#UltimateFoodRoadTrip – Cafe Du Monde, New Orleans, Louisiana

If you have been to New Orleans then you have probably been there, if you haven’t then you must go to Cafe Du Monde.

Cafe Du Monde is an institution in New Orleans. They now have a number of locations, but the original French Market coffee stand, which has been around since 1862, is the crown jewel. The cafe is known for their Beignets. Beignets are not donuts, they are fried pieces of dough that are covered in powdered sugar and they are a wonderful treat. They will have you craving them long after you leave The Big Easy. So if you ever find yourself in New Orleans, take some time away from the partying on Bourbon Street and head over to Cafe Du Monde for a taste of something delectable.
