This Is How Athletes Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend

This past Monday was Memorial Day in the United States and following in the footsteps of The Opening Serve, I thought I would check out how athletes celebrate Memorial Day weekend, with a focus on the food they were eating.

Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples explains the difference between a barbecue and a cook out. He prefers barbecue.

Former NBA player, Dennis Scott, had his grill game working on Monday.

He also showed a little bit of finesse in the kitchen.

Bryant McKinnie of the Baltimore Ravens threw a legit cookout.

Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles was grilling up some salmon on the indoor hibachi grill.

Not an athlete, but we saved the best for last. Check out this epic grocery store beer display.
